A typical day for Lingmere with a strong wind making things difficult. Those on the relatively calm pegs found that the fish weren't there in numbers, while those on fish struggled with presentation.
Gary Brislen managed to conjure up enough fish off a flat calm peg to put 32lb 08oz on the scales. F1s on pole-fished maggot giving Laughin Boy his first win of the current campaign. Well Done to Gary.
Venue experience again stood the Gnome in good stead as he weighed 30lb 06oz to take second spot. Maggot was again the successful bait, this time to tempt barbel as well as the customary F1s.
Another regular, in the shape of Piet Delmaine, completed the frame with a well earned net which went 25lb 12oz
A big pat on the back for Zimbo.
A section win went to the ever improving Paul Cargill, who tip-fished his way to 25lb 02oz. Excellent, considering the others in his section did not weigh .
Pato, with a very respectable 19lb 08oz, and the consistent Dirk Wriggler with 24lb 05oz, both won section money so well done to them too.
