FISHOMANIA TICKETS
One of our members, John Edwards (SUMO), has managed to secure tickets to 2 fishomania qualifying matches. He will be fishing at Heronbrook and Octoplus Boldings. Please pass on any personal experiences about these venues as John is clueless as to tactics needed on either water! Anyway we wish him the best of luck. John would also like suggestions as to what he could spend the £25k prize on. For what it's worth I think 25,000 matches against Norman Smith would relieve him of most of it - they have a side bet of £1 at each eggy match!

well what a day , drawn in the worst place , wind in my face and sitting next to the Master Catcher on yew tree Sir KS , the only bonus was sumo was on end peg , (what a waste ) lol , he fished his maximum of 21/2 hours which then gave KS an emty peg , thats all i need i thought ,now i,m really up against it on top of that peg leg next door to me (dnw) balled it in with the immortal words i,m half,s with chopper and he,s caught on the paste . Right we have ice on the water , the temp is about 1 degree nobodies catching and choppers on paste !!!!! Common chopper come clean whats your secret bait !!peggy wouldn,t tell me , anyway well won mate 20+lb , patto was 2nd 6lb+ and look like a well oiled machine in action proper winter league angler ps now known as 006 third was a upan comming memeber to be GS who managed 3rd with a chopper hooked tench , well done mate
ReplyDelete, my highlight was sumo taking the walk of shame (again) the bank talk was rife , does he pay the full bank fee , what a waste of an end peg , as he run out of bait !!! oh well another nugget oh yes and the gnome got a lesson off 006
