Sumo presents Jamie with the Yozzer Hughes weekend away winners trophy
Congratulations to Jamie on being presented with the "Yozzer Hughes Weekend Away Winners Trophy " Well done to all who competed and we will do it all again next year.
Winning that was the best thing I could've wished for. Whilst I'm on I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for making my time as Match Capt an enjoyable one and hope I achieved what I was aiming for, to make the eggy a fun, social and happy club to be in. It's never been the same for me since Yozz passed away and I felt it was time for me to stand down as I couldn't give it the time and effort the club deserved. The mantle has been passed to Dave Harrop, who I'm sure will do a fine job. I wish him all the luck in the world. Yozz, I thank you for what you learnt me in life, not only about fishing but about life itself. I miss you every single day and hope your happy wherever you are now. It was an honour my friend. Love ya x
Was talkin with Jamie bout the Yozza weekend away 20 anglers went on this and only 1 comment apart from Johns write up. Must say Yozza must be very dissapointed with this club at the moment.seems. to me like no ones interested anymore i thought there might have been a bit more interest shown, very poor show by members(myself included)
Also known as Yozzer, my fishing philosophy is 'why fish 13metres if you can catch at 3'.
Because I often sit holding my top 3 I've been christened 'THE GARDEN GNOME'.
Two quotes I like.....There are no bad pegs......
There's a fine line between fishin and just sittin looking stupid.
Winning that was the best thing I could've wished for.
